1) I’m in much better spirits than I was earlier this week. I’ve scaled back my workouts and have been feeling less lung pain. I’ve been using the inhaler more regularly. I think prior to this week I didn’t want to use it because it made me feel like I’m still sick. Well, I need to grow up and realize my lungs have taken a beating and I need to remember that. Just because the rest of my body is feeling better, I can’t pretend my lungs are the same. But what’s more exciting is that I scheduled a session with a trainer at my new gym. My membership comes with a free session and the manager really listened to what I was looking for and found me someone who’s pretty awesome. She’s an endurance athlete who took up lifting and personal training to keep injury away. I met her briefly on Monday and she seems to totally understand which muscles I want to work while I’m not running. She also gave me some good tips on how to use the elliptical and get my heart rate way up without straining my lungs. I’m pretty excited to work out tonight!

I made the boyfriend watch this last night and he asked me if I liked this because there’s guys who look like Tim Tebow and Stephen Strasburg. He must have missed the guy who winks.
